You or your daughter may be struggling with:

Parent Support
Many parents come to me noticing:

Friend drama or social media stress feels intense
Confidence has dropped and self-criticism is increasing
Guidance and collaboration so you feel supported not shut out of your child’s care.

.

You can rest assured that you will be in a comfortable, supportive, and encouraging environment, where the focus will be on you alone – there is no ‘cookie cutter’ way of doing things here, and your individual needs to achieve growth are the top priority.

About Me
I’m a licensed therapist specializing in working with teen girls, women, and families navigating anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions.

I understand how overwhelming it can feel when emotions are intense, confidence feels shaky, or life doesn’t feel manageable in the way it “should.”

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients feel understood—not judged. I specialize working with tween, teen girls and women with a private practice in Cardiff By The Sea, CA.

In therapy, I focus on helping clients:

Make sense of their emotions without shame
Break cycles of anxiety, perfectionism, and self-criticism
Develop practical coping strategies
Build confidence and emotional resilience
Strengthen identity and self-worth
I draw from evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs.

This may be a good fit if you are looking for:

A therapist who is warm, direct, and grounded
Support for anxiety, depression, grief, perfectionism, or emotional overwhelm
A safe space for you or your teen daughter to open up
Someone who helps with both insight AND practical tools

Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. It can be a steady place to land and grow.

I have been providing therapeutic treatment for over 20 years in a wide variety of settings throughout San Diego County. My background includes working with a diverse population who present with a wide-ranging diagnoses and clinical complexities.

In addition to providing therapy to both adults and children, I have extensive experience working in the school setting, providing advocacy and support by collaboration with my clients and school staff. I have provided services within the San Diego Unified School District, Oceanside Unified School District and Vista Unified School District.

My therapeutic focus is driven by using various techniques and coping skills through evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SBFT) and Mindfulness interventions.

I currently reside in north county San Diego with my family. I spend a lot a time at the beach, walking our dog, like to be active and enjoying all things our beautiful city has to offer. I have a BA in Psychology from SDSU and a MA in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from UHS.
